We started working on Good Egg in February 2021. Auckland was back in lockdown again and we were hearing from more and more people, with questions like these. Unable to go into work, many of them were struggling to get what they wanted out of their makeshift home offices.
The time was right for Good Egg. A website to make it easier for kiwi businesses and consumers to find the office products they need. To provide the guidance and support to help other New Zealanders make the right choices.
Our goal is that Good Egg is not just another of those tech retailers — you know who we’re talking about — that offer an endless and overwhelming selection of products and expect you to know exactly what you want.
We don’t think that buying tech products should be that difficult — we want to make it simpler. And we want to help stop people from making costly mistakes.
We don’t want you to buy an inkjet printer which gets little use because it costs so much to run. Or to settle for a multifunction printer that’s okay for printing but, it turns out, is no good for scanning. Or to purchase printer ink in bulk that is no longer usable by the time you are ready to use it.
Good Egg is here to help. Sure, it’s a work in progress, but our ultimate aim is to help make it easy for you to find the cost-effective and eco-friendly products that meet your needs. And, of course, to offer you the support you need to get things working.
