Print speed is best in class at up to 40 ppm (pages per minute) for black and colour (14 ppm double-sided), with a first-print-out time of less than 10 seconds. Scan speeds are equally as impressive, at up to 50 ppm (one-sided) and up to 104 images per minute (two-sided). Added to this, the printer includes a 100-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for efficient scanning and copying.

The MFC-L9630cdn is designed to suit most needs but comes with upgrade options should you need them. It can be transformed from a low-profile desktop device to a floor-standing model, increasing paper handling capacity from 520 sheets to 2,700 pages simply by adding optional paper trays and a storage cabinet. It comes with 2GB internal memory but you can add an extra 2GB USB Flash Memory to further improve performance. USB and Gigabit network connectivity is standard, but an optional 2.4/5GHz wireless card adds the convenience of direct wireless printing.

The MFC-L9630cdn features a user-friendly LCD touchscreen with an intuitive menu that can be customised with up to 64 shortcuts to increase productivity. It also comes with advanced security features, such as secure print, IPsec, and 802.1x authentication.

It runs on standard yield TN-851 toner which delivers up to 9,000 pages per black cartridge, and up to 6,500 pages per colour cartridge. For a more economical option (and fewer refills), you can also use high-yield TN-851XL toner (good for up to 12,000 pages per black cartridge, and up to 9,000 pages per colour cartridge).

Typically deliveries to major New Zealand towns and cities take 1 to 2 days, while it may take a day or two longer for rural areas. Delivery of oversized printers that are too heavy for normal courier delivery is done by Mainfreight and may take a little longer on occasions. You’ll be notified when your order has been dispatched and provided with a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order.
