A 2023 addition to the Brother line-up, the Brother MFCL6915dw is a mono multifunction workhorse that prints, scans, copies, and faxes, with all the grunt needed to handle the busiest office environments.

With a recommended monthly print volume of up to 16,000 pages (and a maximum duty cycle of up to 160,000 pages), the MFCL6915dw is primed and ready for heavy-duty printing. This printer delivers prints and copies at up to 50 A4 pages a minute (with a first page out of less than seven seconds).

Print quality is sharp and clear, at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, with an 80-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF) for double-sided (duplex) scanning at up to 100 images per minute. Scans are up to 1200 x 1200 dpi (600 x 600 dpi when using the ADF). As for copying, the resolution is up to 1200 x 600 dpi, with 25%-400% reduction/enlargement, the option to copy 2-up or 4-up on a single sheet, and sorting functions.

The standard paper capacity for the MFCL6915dw is 620 pages, split between a 500-sheet front tray and a multipurpose tray that enables printing on custom media or envelopes. Additional paper trays and a tower tray with a stabiliser are available to get you up to a maximum 2,700-sheet capacity. Output capacity is 250 sheets.

When you need more toner, you’re spoilt for choice. This printer accepts standard yield TN-3605 (3,000-page yield), high yield TN-3605XL (6,000 pages), super-high yield TN-3605XXL (11,000 pages), ultra high-yield TN-3615 (18,000 pages), and maximum-capacity TN-3615XL (25,000 pages) black toner cartridges. The higher the page yield, the lower your cost per page.

The printer imaging drum (DR3605) is a separate unit, lasting for up to 45,000 pages (if typical print jobs are one page only) or up to 75,000 pages (if three pages).

Connectivity options include built‐in Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band wireless networking, USB 2.0, and WiFi Direct. The printer also includes two USB host ports (front and back), allowing you to print from and scan to a USB flash drive, store print jobs, or use an external card reader. Mobile users can connect to the printer via Brother Mobile Connect, Apple AirPrint, or Mopria.

For easy standalone operation, the printer includes a 17.8cm colour touchscreen display that allows you to create up to 64 custom shortcuts for your most frequently used tasks. Delivery of oversized printers that are too heavy for normal courier delivery is done by Mainfreight and may take a little longer on occasions.
