If you want a Canon ink tank printer but don’t need double-sided scanning or fax capabilities and the 350-page paper capacity is plenty enough, take a close look at the GX6060 (get the GX7070 otherwise).

The GX6060 is more than enough ink tank printer for small to medium businesses where cost efficiency, fast printing, professional-looking documents, and easy usability are priorities.

This is a smart choice for those wanting to save on ink costs. Cost-per-print is generally cheaper than that for a laser printer, especially if you do a lot of colour printing.

In the box you get four full-size GI-66 ink bottles, manufacturer-rated to produce up to 6,000 B&W A4 prints and 14,000 colour prints (or up to 9,000 A4 B&W pages and 21,000 colour pages if you use Economy Mode). For even greater cost savings, third-party compatible ink refill bottles are also available.

Like other high performance printers in the MAXIFY range, print speeds are relatively fast for an inkjet printer, at up to 24 images per minute (ipm) for black and white; 15.5 ipm for colour. Automatic double-sided printing is supported. The printer includes a front loading cassette that can hold up to 250 A4 pages, a 100-sheet rear paper tray, a 50-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), and a user-replaceable maintenance cartridge (G01). It can handle heavier media like rigid paper and double-sided matte paper (up to 0.7mm), and print banners up to 1.2m wide.

Print resolution is up to 600 x 1200 dpi, producing documents with sharp text and vibrant colours. Photo quality can be slightly grainy and, if that’s a concern, you should consider a dedicated photo printer instead.

You can connect to the printer via wired and wireless LAN (dual-band) or USB, and a 6.7cm colour LCD touchscreen allows easy standalone navigation and control. For mobile users, connection is via Apple AirPrint, Mopria, Canon Print Service, PIXMA Cloud Link, or Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY mobile printing protocols.

Delivery of oversized printers that are too heavy for normal courier delivery is done by Mainfreight and may take a little longer on occasions. You’ll be notified when your order has been dispatched and provided with a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order.
