The Canon PIXMA HOME TS9560 printer is for anyone who needs a compact wireless inkjet that prints both A4 and A3 documents and can scan and copy.

The TS9560 has a five-ink system (there are two blacks; a pigment black for sharp text documents, and a dye-based black for vivid colour photos). With a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi, photo colour accuracy is good, with deep blacks and vibrant colours. Print speed is reasonable at up to 15 images per minute (ipm) for black and white, and 10 ipm for colour. It prints on a range of media: plain and photo paper, cardstock, envelopes, and even sticker paper, magnetic paper, and CDs/DVDs.

With dual paper trays and automatic double-sided printing, you can easily switch between different media types and print on both sides of a page. An auto document feeder makes it easier to copy and scan multiple pages. While the flatbed scanner is limited to A4-size documents, a two-step oversized copy feature allows you to copy A3 documents onto a single A3 or A4 sheet.

Setup is made easy with Canon Print Assist, an online wizard which will step you through the process and help troubleshoot any issues. You can connect and print from the TS9560 with USB, Wi-Fi or Ethernet. You can also print directly from smart devices with Bluetooth, Apple AirPrint, Mopria, PIXMA Cloud Print, and Canon Print, as well as from USB flash drives and a range of SD and other memory cards.

This printer is compatible with a range of third-party ink cartridges and uses Canon PGI680 (pigment black) and CLI681 (dye-based black, cyan, magenta, and yellow) inks. These come in three capacities: standard-yield, high-yield XL, and extra-high-yield XXL. You get a lower cost per page (and greater value for money) from the XXL cartridges and save extra if you use third-party compatible ink.

Typically deliveries to major New Zealand towns and cities take 1 to 2 days, while it may take a day or two longer for rural areas. Delivery of oversized printers that are too heavy for normal courier delivery is done by Mainfreight and may take a little longer on occasions. You’ll be notified when your order has been dispatched and provided with a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order.
