Product Details: Intended for busy workgroups with lots to print, HP’s entry-level Enterprise LaserJet M406dn is a dependable single-function mono laser printer that offers quick printing speeds and the security features large businesses need. With print speeds of up to 40 ppm, automatic two-sided (duplex) printing, an intuitive 6.9cm colour touchscreen display, and a robust suite of security features, this printer is designed to make any workgroup’s jobs easier.

The M406dn is an affordable but effective solution for busy workgroups of up to 10 people regularly printing the recommended monthly volume of 900-4,800 pages (100,000 pages maximum). While it is not a wireless printer, you can connect to it via USB or Ethernet, and you can also print directly from a flash drive. You can add dual-band wireless and Wi-Fi Direct capability with the optional HP Jetdirect 3100w BLE/NFC/Wireless Accessory (3JN69A). With this addition, you can print from a mobile device using Apple AirPrint, Mopria Print Service, Wi-Fi Direct, HP’s ePrint service, and NFC touch-to-print. Security features include dynamic security-enabled printing, automatically checked BIOS during startup to prevent tampering, and card reader support.

The M406dn has the capacity for up to 1,350 sheets, split between two input trays but capacity can be extended up to 1,900 sheets if you add an extra 550-sheet paper tray (D9P29A).

Printouts at up to 1200 x 1200 dpi are sharp and vibrant. Replacement toner comes in standard-yield HP 26A and high-yield HP 26X sizes. Third-party compatible HP 26X is also available, with a very low cost per page.

At 8.5kg, the M406dn is a lightweight and compact printer that will fit on most desktops. It is an excellent choice for busy workgroups that need a dependable and cost-effective single-function mono laser printer with robust security features.

When to expect delivery:

Get your order fast! Place it before 2 pm Mon-Fri for same-day shipping from warehouses in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch (excluding public holidays). Typically deliveries to major New Zealand towns and cities take 1 to 2 days, while it may take a day or two longer for rural areas. Delivery of oversized printers that are too heavy for normal courier delivery is done by Mainfreight and may take a little longer on occasions. You’ll be notified when your order has been dispatched and provided with a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order.
