The HP LaserJet Pro MFP M234sdw is a compact multifunction printer that offers a wide range of features for both home and small office use and will suit teams of up to five users. It is the lower-cost alternative to the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M234sdwe. What you don’t get (but do with the M234sdwe) are HP+ features such as automatic ink/toner ordering, enhanced security, and an extended warranty. However, HP+ requires a stable internet connection for your printer to work, and you must use genuine HP toner (not compatible toner) for the lifespan of your printer. If you don’t need or want HP+, then this printer (which comes with a 40-sheet automatic document feeder) or the M234dw (without the ADF) will work best for you.

One of the standout features of the M234 printers is their fast two-sided printing capability (HP claims fast printing speeds of 21-30 pages per minute). And, with a 150-sheet input tray, 100-sheet output tray, and an automatic document feeder, the M234sdw is ideal for users who regularly need to print, scan, or copy lengthy documents. It produces professional-looking documents with sharp, crisp text and uses HP 134A and 134X toner cartridges. Less expensive third-party compatible toner cartridges are also available.

If you have limited space in your home or office, the M234 series printers are remarkably compact, and can easily fit on a desk or shelf. They support mobile printing — you can even manage print jobs and access printer settings from your phone, using the HP Smart app.

Get your order fast! Place it before 2 pm Mon-Fri for same-day shipping from warehouses in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch (excluding public holidays). Typically deliveries to major New Zealand towns and cities take 1 to 2 days, while it may take a day or two longer for rural areas. Delivery of oversized printers that are too heavy for normal courier delivery is done by Mainfreight and may take a little longer on occasions. You’ll be notified when your order has been dispatched and provided with a tracking number so you can monitor the progress of your order.
