The Brother DCPJ1050dw is an inexpensive multifunction colour inkjet printer that prints, scans, and copies, and packs a lot of features into its small size. While not designed for heavy-duty printing (the recommended print volume is up to 250 pages a month), it can print at reasonable speeds. According to Brother, you’ll get up to 17.5 images per minute (ipm) for black and white; and 9.5 ipm for colour. What’s more, the DCPJ1050dw automatically prints double-sided A4 pages and handles plain, recycled, and photo papers weighing up to 220gsm. And you’ll get high-quality black and colour documents at a relatively low cost per page for an inkjet printer.

Easy to set up and use, this printer does not take up too much space in your home or home office — it easily fits on top of a filing cabinet. You can access it via a wireless network, or connect directly to your computer with a USB cable. With mobile devices, you can connect to print and scan using Wi-Fi Direct, Brother Mobile Connect, Apple AirPrint, or Mopria Print Service, no matter where you are around the house.
