Product Details: Brother laser printers have separate toner cartridges and imaging drum units. The toner cartridge holds the toner powder which forms text and images, while the drum unit transfers that toner onto the paper.

You’ll need to replace your Brother DR2415 drum when your printer shows a “Replace Drum” message.

If you don’t change your printer’s drum unit you’ll see a decline in print quality. Prints won’t look as good as they used to, even with a new toner cartridge. You might see blurred or faded images and text, black or coloured spots, smeared toner, or thin vertical lines on your pages. Typically, you need to replace the printer drum unit after you have replaced 3-4 toner cartridges.
